EXO Graphic Novel Fan Art

So as is my custom, I try to challenge myself from time to time and see if I can illustrate someone else's characters. Dewunmi 'D-roye' Okupe, the creator of EXO Graphic Novel, and the folks at YouNeek Studios are currently having a Fan Art Competition for the month of October.

I've always thought EXO was a fantastic project and would encourage everyone to support it. I thought I would give it a shot and do an illustration of two of the main characters of EXO The Graphic Novel. The two characters I chose were EXO and Fury.

It was fun giving myself this challenge. I think I learned a few new techniques that I haven't used before and learned something more about applying detail. So yes the exercise achieved its purpose.
